Poker is one of the most popular card games in the world. In a few years,
his popularity has exploded. It’s impossible, almost unimaginable, not to
find a casino where somebody isn't
playing poker.
Nowadays, it can be found on the internet, on handy games…it’s even played
on the streets.
Europe’s best poker player is Joe Beevers, from England, London. He is
spending his time in the most popular poker tournaments, all over the
world. In the beginning, in 1800, when poker games earned popularity in
the United States, specially in the west side, everybody felt, that they
had to spend, win, and lose money. Until then, a few things changed. The
best place in the world, evidently is in Las Vegas. In just one year,
people loose, and win over 1 billion dollars. Most of the winners are
already pro’s, or they are just lucky. Professional players, from all
around the world, go there, to tackle themselves. There isn’t a player,
who doesn’t have a personal cheat.
However, there is always an alternative, for those, who are professionals,
but others don’t have the possibility to go to a tournament, not to
mention they don’t have money to play those big bets. For those, there is
the internet, the online games, which you can play even in pijamas, from
your bed.

in 1994. Until then, hundreds of pro poker players appeared, most of them
in the States.
Like everything in our life, poker has it's disadvantages . For example
,for those, who become fanatics, it might cost them their homes, families,
and much more. It’s not a good example for the social life, mostly for the
children. Nowadays, television and computer dominate their lives,
imagination, of free time. So, what happens in the television, is what we
should follow. It’s like a lifestyle. Sad to say, but … true. I won’t say
to those who play it, not to do so, but, they should find some way, not to
"intoxicate" the media with their hobby.
Professional players exist now and will always exist, because this type of
gaming
has richly deserved his fame, and it's just possible, that right now a new
champion is being born.
